She was predeceased by: her husband James Doyle; and her siblings, Eileen Orpen of Castletownbere and Cork. She is survived by: her pet Scotty. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Norwood Council on Aging at 275 Prospect Street in Norwood.
