Joan L. Lewis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan L. Lewis of Norwood, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Hart and Gertrude A. Hart (Harris); her brother Walter Hart (Patricia); and also William C. Lewis. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen M. (John Kenny) and Janet M. Lewis; her grandson William L. Hunt; her sister Barbara Hurley; and her grandson Billy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
