Jean McDonough Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean McDonough of Norwood, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert S. Wood and Helen E. Wood (Linnehan); her husband Martin J. McDonough; and her brother Herbert Wood. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jean McDermott of Norwood, Patricia (late Philip McManus) of Norwood and Barbara (Michael McDonough) of Norwood; her sister Joan McGowan of Norwood; her grandchildren, Kevin McDermott, William McDermott (Carlei), Timothy Hogan (Emily), Katie (Anthony Lemieux), Natalie, Michael, Brian and Allison McDonough; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, William, Leo, Gus, Joseph and Charles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
