He was predeceased by: his sister Diane McNair; and his parents, James F. Barnes and Veronica Barnes (Simelevich). He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Bowen (Greg) of Crystal Lake, IL and Vickie Damato (Paul) of Prescott Valley, AZ.; his grandchildren, Vincent Damato, Natalya Damato, Megan Bowen, Erin Bowen and Wyatt McNair; his nephew Matthew McNair of Norwood; and his niece Melissa McDonough of Plainville.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home (1248 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Highland Cemetery (320 Winter St, Norwood, MA 02062).
