He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Bell (Marsh) and Richard Bell; and his brothers, John Bell and William Bell. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lou (David Famolle) of Walpole, Deborah Bell of Mansfield and Christopher Bell (Danna) of Norwood; and his sister-in-law Sheila Bell of Plainville. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in George's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
