Gilbert (McCarty); his children, Patricia (Jack Livingstone) of Cohasset, Thomas (Kim) of Clearwater Florida, James (Michael Pollock) of Windsor California and Maureen (John Shields); his siblings, Marie Fahey (late Walter) of Taunton and Walter (Sheila) of Falmouth; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Kyle Livingstone, Nicholas, Connor Gilbert, Erin and Jack Shields. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish (547 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062).
