She was predeceased by: her parents, William Green and Edna (Hankin); her son Douglas R. Chute; and her siblings, Joseph, Dennis, William Green and Dottie Piantedosi.

She is survived by: her sister Priscilla Shaughnessy; her nieces and nephews, Donald R. Chute, Jr. (Pauline), Dana R. Chute (Pamela), Diane R. Van Ryn (Joel), Nancy E. DeAngelo (Michael) and Gregory J. Chute; and her grandchildren, Michael Chute (Kalliope), Richard Chute, Seth Chute, Michael DeAngelo (Lauren), Jenna Martin (Mike), Rachel DeAngelo (David), Ryan DeAngelo, Douglas Chute, Jr., Shana Mitchell (Joseph), Paige Payer (Philip), Gregory Chute, Jr. and Amy Jacobson (Aaron). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
