It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kelley of Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dorothy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John MacKenzie and Muriel MacKenzie (McGuire); her husband William P. Kelley III; and her siblings, Thomas, John and William MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane P. (late Michael Halpin) of Brockton and Sheila R. (Christopher Luciano) of Norwood; her sisters, Laura Walsh and Christine Grenham; and her grandsons, Blake William and Joseph Anthony Luciano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
