He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Frederick of Weymouth, MA; his children, Kristine Wolf (Fernald) of Norwell, MA and Erik Fernald of Smyrna, GA.; his siblings, Richard Fernald and Janet Josimovich (Fernald); and his grandchildren, Phoebe, Henry Wolf, Aidan and William Fernald. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
