He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth A. Ahern (McPherson); his son Robert Ahern; his grandson Charles Carmillo; and his brother Patrick Ahern of Ireland. He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Carmillo (Michelle) of Clayton, NC, Oliver J. Ahern (Leanna) of Longmont, CO. and Paul Carmillo (Amie) of Chelmsford, MA.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Dominic, Samuel Carmillo, Nicholas, Olivia and Vivian Carmillo; his brothers, Michael Ahern of Mansfield and Edward Ahern of Braintree; and his friend Margaret Davin of Brockton.
