With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvoid C. Mayers of Norwell, Massachusetts, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elvoid C. Mayers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her brother Elliott Baskins. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Mayers-Walker (John) of Alexandria, Virginia, David Mayers III (Barbara) of Washington, DC, Damon Mayers (Lynn Bowman) of Norwell and Darryl Mayers (Juliette) of Norwell; her nieces and nephews, Marcia Bibby, Ronald Greene, Wendell Clark, Gerald Clark, Joyce Clark-Henry, Josette Watson, Nadine Goode and Shelley Davis; and her grandchildren, Omari, Attallah, Ayaan, David IV, Dyani, Aaron, Conor, D'Anna and Danielle. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
