He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Nichols and Leon Nichols; his son Christopher Nichols; and his sister Marjorie Perrine. He is survived by: his wife Christina Nichols; his children, Darlene Dubanoski (Joseph) of Madbury, N. H., Debra Nichols (Ricky Rodrigues) of Marshfield, David Nichols Jr. of Manchester, N. H. and Chester Nichols (Robyn) of Whitman; his grandchildren, Joseph, James, Rachel, Chad, Tina, Tiffany, Justin, Jack, Julianne and Stephanie; and his siblings, Barbara Houghton of Hingham, Evelyn Ayer and Herbert Nichols.
