He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Cote and Lucille M. Cote (Phaneuf). He is survived by: his son Dennis E. Freeman (Monica) of Norton; his grandchildren, Tyler, Mariyah, Gabriella, Roland, Juliana, Ayvah, Kaden and Madelyn; and also Karen P. Freeman.

Due to the 3-piece limitation of flowers allowed at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Ronald's family has requested that contributions in his memory be made to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108.
