He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund and Catherine; his wife Cynthia; his sons, Sean, Patrick and Kevin (Megan); his grandson Jack J.; and his brother Mark J. (Robin).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home - Arlington (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (32 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
