She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Barney; her parents, Thomas D. Smith and Laura E. Smith (Munyon); and her siblings, George Smith and Helen Korsak.
She is survived by: her children, Laura E. Nichols (Albert) of South Attleboro, Thomas W. Barney (late Michele) of Longmeadow, James R. Barney (Karen) of Norton and Robert L. Barney of Boston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
