It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph P. Sweeney of Norton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. and Mary T. Sweeney (Silverstrone). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Sweeney (MacKenzie); his pet Retriever "Nala"; his children, Sean Sweeney (Nicole) of Florida and Holly Briggs of Norton; his grandchildren, Shane, Gavin, Aliyah and Brandon; and his siblings, Pamela McGuire of Everett, Maureen Barry of Norton, Judith Cahn of Georgia, Sandra Kaye of Attleboro, Christine Motowidlak of Georgia and Stephen Sweeney of Newton. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
