As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur M. Freeman and Myra L. Freeman (Helpard). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Freeman (Minzner); his sons, Peter M. Freeman (Tamara) of Norton and Paul A. Freeman of Norton; his grandsons, Sam, Nick and Andrew; his sister Elizabeth J. "Libby" Keister; and his extended family New Brunswick.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home (19 Clapp St, Norton, MA 02766).

In lieu of flowers, John's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Norton Historical Society, P.O. Box 1711, Norton, MA 02766.
