The memory of Joan M. (Snell) Scott of Norton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Scott, Jr.; her parents, Arnold L. Snell and Eleanor L. Snell (Kershaw); her daughter Joyce R. Dufresne; and her siblings, Janet Nielsen, Evelyn Sherwood, Norma Noll and Elmer Snell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen L. Sigman of Norton, Kathleen M. Emond (Gary) of Attleboro, Cheryl A. Haviland of Attleboro, Martha E. Economou (Matthew), Joan E. Dunham of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jennifer A. Scott of Norton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, as well as her many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home (19 Clapp St, Norton, MA 02766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
