We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2023 we had to say goodbye to George W. Severance Jr. of Norton, Massachusetts, born in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Severance, Sr. and Sally Wilson (Derochea); and his parent-in-law Thomas Meaney. He is survived by: his wife Cindy L. Meaney; his children, Michael D. Purpura (Crista Combis) of Foxborough and Christine D. Purpura of Norton; his sister Christine Ellis (Randy) of Brockton; and his pets, Bailey, Sam and Cleo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, George's family would prefer that donations in his memory be made to the Smokey Chestnut Farm Rescue, P.O. Box 407, Norton, MA 02766 or to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
