With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel J. Devine of Norton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024 at the age of 42. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Daniel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father James M. Devine. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Tamara Devine (McEachern) of Norton; his sons, Patrick C. Devine and Aidan T. Devine; the mother of his children Kyla S. Drury; his brother James F. Devine of Norton; and his godson Owen Lewis of Mansfield. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Daniel's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
