It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J. Plantinga of Northbridge, Massachusetts, born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Plantinga and Edith Plantinga (Vanderbrug). He is survived by: his wife Roxie A. Plantinga (Barrows); his children, Rachel A. (Jonathan Nydam) of Northbridge and Daryl J. (Karen Plantinga) of Northbridge; his grandchildren, Kevin (Meaghan Nydam), Lydia (Jake Arsenault), Kyle and Claire Plantinga; his great grandchildren, Haven, Abel Nydam, Jane and Mia Arsenault; and his siblings, Harold Plantinga (Barbara) of Whitinsville, Helena Bloem (Glen) of Whitinsville and Karen Wielsma (Earl) of Whitinsville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Buma Funeral Homes - Whitinsville (480 Church St, Whitinsville, MA 01588). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Reformed University Fellowship.
