He was predeceased by: his sister Marion Gentile; and his son-in-law Frank Mangin. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara A. Helstrom (Applegate); and his children, David R. Helstrom (Tammy) of Douglas, Debra L. Mangin of Viroqua, WI and Eric B. Helstrom (Heidi) of Douglas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
