She was predeceased by: her son Charles F. Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Rudolph Scholl, Sophie Steele and Emily John. She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Logan Brown; her son David J. Brown of Sutton; her niece Cynthia Haelsen of Killingly, CT.; her grandchildren, Logan, Will and Christine; and her parents, Frank Sholl and Sophia Sholl (Keck).
