He is survived by: his wife Carol Goodenow; his daughter Rachel Goodenow; his son-in-law Obadiah Greenberg of Berkeley; his daughter Ellen Garcia; his son-in-law Rodrigo Garcia of San Francisco; and his grandchildren, Theodore, Ada and Inigo.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, well-wishers donate to Rotary International or the American Civil Liberties Union as a tribute to Ron's values and generous spirit.
