He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Bassett and Julia Bassett (Stone); his wife Anne; his children, Jeanne Kowal of Berlin, Mary Walter of Southborough, Paula Kapurch of Northborough and Roland Bassett, Jr. of Worcester; his brother Robert Bassett of Parish, FL; and also, Cynthia Bassett and Marie Mullen. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
