He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Maher and Jeanne L. Maher (Whynot); his brother Joseph Maher; and his brother-in-law Hayden Wood, Jr. (Bob). He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Jane Wood Pelletier of Holden, Joanne Wood of Framingham and Harris Wood of California; his wife Susan; and also Susan Duffy Maher (Wood, family: Morgan, Erin, Hayden, Bridjet, Colin Duffy, Aaron, Alex, Calvin Duffy). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Hays Funeral Home (56 Main St, Northborough, MA 01532).
