He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carlton Wheeler and Molly Wheeler (Dillon); his siblings, Robert C. Wheeler, James P. Wheeler and Shirley Jean Chiapperini (Wheeler); and his nephew Peter Chiapperini.
He is survived by: his sons, James Robert Wheeler (Janet) of Stow, MA and Stuart Douglass Wheeler (Mary) of Golden, CO.; his grandchildren, Bradford D. Wheeler of Brookline, MA, Gregory B. Wheeler of Brookline, MA, Dustin Wheeler (Jenni Klauder) of Forest Hills, NY and Kelsey M. Wheeler of Golden, CO.; his nephew Robert Wheeler (Sandy); and his nieces, Barbara Wheeler of Lantana, FL, Caryl Owen (Jim) of Verona, WI and Frances Ann Berardocco (Lou) of Staten Island, NY..
