He was predeceased by: his wife Gerry L. Salo (Magay); his parents, Reino Salo and Doris Salo (Kennedy); and his siblings, Gary Salo and Cheryl Durso.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judith A. Morgan (Lee) of Charlton and Darlene R. Ramuno of Douglas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
