She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph E. Hathaway and Lucretia N. Hathaway (Jernegan); her husband James W. Emmett; her children, Brian Emmett (Susan) of Easthampton, MA, Denis Emmett (Susan) of Sarasota, FL, Linda Duame of Agawam, MA and Denise Gaspari (Mark) of Westfield, MA; her grandchildren, Jamie, Liz, Jason, Nick, Becca, Kathryn and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Amber, Hailey, Lena, Molly, Kaelyn, Jude, Leah, Kylie, Riley and Aubrey. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Due to the state restrictions with the COVID-19 virus, the funeral and burial for Lucretia were private through Mitchell Funeral Home in Easthampton.

Memorial donations in Lucretia's name may be made to the ambulance unit of the Easthampton Fire Department.
