He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Bynum and Gussie Bynum (Daniels); and his son Jerry Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Marcie R. Stallworth-Bynum; his children, Lorenzo C. Bynum Jr., Jonathan L. Bynum, Justin Cummings, Devon C. Bynum, LaTash Harris, Lashauna Bynum, Lee'ona Hughes and Lee'ashia Ramsey; and his siblings, Victor Bynum, Hattie M. Gasque, Stella M. Gilbert, Diane Bynum and Doris Bynum. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
