He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Barrett (Sullivan); and his son Joseph Barrett. He is survived by: his children, Patrick J. Barrett (Christine) of Weymouth, Christopher G. Barrett (Dawna) of Norwell, Mary K. Barrett of Weymouth, John F. Barrett (Maureen) of Weymouth and James A. Barrett (Maryellen) of Weymouth. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
