She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Souther and Dorothy Souther; and her sister Dorothy Melanson. She is survived by: her close friend Kevin Brown of Reading; her children, Brian DiGiacomo, Jean DiGiacomo and Andover; her grandchildren, Emily and Max; and her siblings, Barbara Cogan (Arthur), Carolyn Doherty (Austin) of Tewksbury, Sharon Patricia Madden (Thomas), William "Billy" Souther of Wakefield and Ellen Mane Noon. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cota Funeral Homes (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Cota Funeral Home (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867). A wake was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Wood End Cemetery.
