He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tom and Deb; and his parents, James Heffernan and Jean Heffernan (LaPorte). He is survived by: his wife Christine Heffernan (Millett); his children, Dr. Sarah McPartland (Ken), James Heffernan III and Jody Heffernan; and his granddaughters, Hannah, Rachel, Megan and Emma McPartland. He is also survived by his family, friends.
