He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Cloutier and Rita Cloutier (Scanlon); and his sister Marie Gallagher. He is survived by: his son James R Cloutier (Janet); his grandchildren, Andrew and Catherine of North Oxford; his close friend Susan M. Pontbriand of North Oxford; his brother Paul Cloutier of Worcester; and also, Michele Hutchinson (Nason) of Oxford, Troy Pontbriand (Jessica) of Charlton, Macy, Tyler and Keenan.
