She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred C. Thompson; her siblings, John Whitney, Miriam Jackson and Janet Wass; and her parents, John Whitney and Katherine Whitney (Larson).
She is survived by: her children, Joel C. Thompson of Bethel, CT and Jean K. Thompson of Hudson; her sister Doris Sargent of North Easton; and her sister-in-law Marlene Whitney of Newtown, CT. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
