With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret McGillivray of North Falmouth, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lang and Madeline Lang (Treanor) of Charlestown, MA.; her husband John McGillivray (Mike); and her siblings, Madeline Gillespie, Marjorie Pothier, Walter and Robert Lang.
She is survived by: her sister Louise Healey; her children, Janet Yacovoni (Phil) of Highland Village, TX, Michael McGillivray (Kay) of Duxbury, MA, Mark McGillivray (Carol) of Franklin, MA, Keith McGillivray (Tina) of University Park, FL, Daniel McGillivray (Michele) of DelMar, CA and Terry McGillivray (Sarah) of Hanover, MA.; and her grandchildren, Marissa, Kara, Michael, Kayla, Colin, Erin, Hannah, Nick, Evan, Alaina, Justine, Abby, Katie, Julia and Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peg's name can be made to the Cardigan Nursing Home, 59 Country Way, Scituate, MA where she received the most wonderful care while there.
