She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Walsh (Sweeney) and William John Walsh; her son John F. O'Connor, III; her husband Jack; and her siblings, Kathleen Herman, Mary-Jeanne Mason and William J. Walsh, Jr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Edna Barry, Gerry Walsh and Patricia Padden; her children, William (Susan) of Mashpee, Stephen (Margot) of Amherst, Mary-Jeanne Manning (Mark) of Dedham, Kathleen Hayes (Jim) of Weymouth, Michael (Jane) of Foxboro and Daniel (Beth) of Brookline; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Brendan, Connor, Erin, Ryan, Liam, Julia, Michael, Matthew, John, Olivia, Caitlin, Jack, Katie, Claire, Lizzie and Mason; and her great grandchild Gavan. She is also survived by 39 foster children.
