She was predeceased by: her parents, Dhirubhai Desai and Lalita Desai; and her sibling Dilip D. Desai (Jagruti Desai). She is survived by: her spouse Virendra H. Joshi; her daughters, Komal V. Joshi of New York City, NY, Paulomi V. Joshi of Boston, MA and Namita V. Joshi of Madison, NJ.; her sibling Vikram D. Desai (Surma V. Desai) of Los Angeles, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Pranav R. Joshi, Darshana R. Vyas, Ankur V. Desai, Amar D. Desai and Abhishek D. Desai.
Please know that Vina would never want anyone to risk their health, so we will be adhering to all applicable COVID-19 precautions, including mandatory social distancing and use of face masks out of respect for her career as a physician.
