He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Adams and Rita Adams (Shaughnessy); his wife Valerie Trischitta; and his siblings, Jean Adamopoulos, Richard "Buddy" Adams, Tina Adams and Charles Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie C. Amendola of Bridgewater, Shawn Adams (Jean) of Florida and Eric Adams (Mary Lou Hansen) of Avon; and his siblings, Herbert "Billy" (Mary Jane Adams), Nancy Hollis (Ken), Faye DiAntonio (Richard) of Maine and Dona Desisto of Worcester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
