He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Thelma Mullen (McLeod); his children, Paul of Lincoln, Kevin of Chicago, Catherine Goslee (Katie) of Alpharetta, Marybeth Barner of Ottertail, Brian (Peggy) of Alton and Daniel (Anne) of Amherst; and his brothers, Peter of Newport and Keeper. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
