She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freitas and Marion Freitas (Treptow); and her sister Jane Freitas-Coffman. She is survived by: her husband Leo E Deschenes; her children, Peter Deschenes (Molly) of Easton, Rose Desilets (Josh) of Somerville, John Paul Deschenes of Easton and Leanne Deschenes (Jay Paonessa) of Vermont; her siblings, Eleanor Freitas of Brockton, John Freitas (Rosemary Doherty-Grosso) of Bourne and Bill Freitas of Iowa; and her grandchildren, Fred Deschenes and Sophie Deschenes Due.
