She was predeceased by: her husband John G. Silvia; her parents, John Sousa and Filomena Sousa (Vieira); and her siblings, John Sousa, William Sousa, George Sousa, Raymond Sousa, Agnes Sousa, Loretta Silvia, Mary Sousa and Norma Sousa.

She is survived by: her children, Edward J. Silvia (Cathy) and Sharon C. Walker (Richard) of Lakeville, MA; her grandchildren, Chris Silvia, Susan Marshall and Stacey Vangsness; and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Shea, Brynn, Braeden, Mason and Evan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
