She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Paiva and Bettina Paiva (Gannon). She is survived by: her husband John Robert Prairie; her sons, David Prairie (Jazmin) and Kevin Prairie (Kerin); her grandsons, Nicholas and Marcus; her sisters, Diane Sheehan (Jamie) and Dora Filipiak (Ed); her parents-in-law, George and Jeanette Prairie; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Prairie (Debbie), Michael Prairie (Selma), Daniel Prairie (Donna), Laurie Angelovich (Gary) and Lisa Barrall (Troy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
