She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ashton, III; her parents, Raymond Fortin and Jeanne Fortin (Langlois); her son Raymond C. Ashton; her grandson Aaron Veronneau; and her sister Irene Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Ashton-Simao (Steven Simao) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Tyler Simao of Somerset, Skylar and Joshua Ashton of Lakeville; and her siblings, Jean Fortin (Marcia) of Arkansas, David Fortin of New Bedford, Louis Fortin (Mary) of Fairhaven and Marie Martel of Dedham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
