He was predeceased by: his parents, Newcomb D. Sr. Cole and Elizabeth Cole (Clements); and his pets, Max, Peaches, Maxwell, Ollie and Tilly.
He is survived by: his wife Sally A. Henry-Cole; his children, Lauren Scott (Nick) of Chelmsford, Ian of Chelmsford, Newcomb Cole III (Chilton) of Rhode Island and Alden (Susan) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, William (Nolan Scott), Tristram, Isabella Cole and Peyton (Brewer Cole); and his sister Betsy Armbrust.
