She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford K. Darby and E. Minerva Darby (March). She is survived by: her husband George C. Howland, Jr.; her children, James C. Howland (Ann) of Leicester and Jennifer D. LeBlanc (Robert) of Blackstone; her son-in-law Francis M. Hart of Barre; and her grandchildren, Shawn Howland, Zachary Grondin, Steven Howland, Alicia Carlander, Justin Hart and Samantha Hart. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
