He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria J. Cheney; and his parents, Herbert L. Cheney and Alice A. Cheney (Keating). He is survived by: his children, William Wendell Cheney Jr. (Lorraine) and Patricia M. Olsen (Glenn C. Olsen) of Norfolk, MA.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Olsen, Kristen (Cheney) of Zeeu and William Cheney III. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
