With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Edward Martell Sr. of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Napoleon Martell and Celia Martell (Tetreault); and his sister Lucille Howarth. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Martell (Plante); his children, Darlene Rose Martell (Richard Auen) of Bellingham, MA, William Edward "Billy" Martell Jr. (Christine Martell) of Cumberland, RI, Jeffrey Edward Martell (Jane Gobin) of North Attleboro, MA and Sharon Brunelle (Raymond Brunelle) of Attleboro, MA.; his grandchildren, William Edward Martell III of Cumberland, RI, Benjamin David Martell of Cumberland, RI and Representative Adam J. Scanlon of North Attleboro, MA.; and his sisters, Linda McCluskey (Dennis) of North Attleboro, MA, Pauline Kean (Thomas) and Lois Perry (John) of North Smithfield, RI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his extended family, many dear friends, and his cherished companion, his dog.
