He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Bescherer and Minnie Lovenbury Bescherer; his sister Alice Bescherer Breese; and his wife Virginia M. Bescherer (Ginny). He is survived by: his friend Bob; his daughters, Andrea (Michael Teichman) of Medfield, MA and Suzanne (John Klose) of Kingston, RI; and his granddaughters, Emily Teichman and Sarah Teichman.
