She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Holland and Helen Holland (Atkins); her daughter Carol Lisa Elson; and her sisters, Rachel Rivell and Joanne Curry.

She is survived by: her husband David Elson; her daughter Sheryle DeGirolamo (Joe) of North Attleboro, MA; her grandchildren, Kristen Flaherty (Scott), Kim Tebbetts (Dave), Katelyn Voorhis (Alec), Kerin Norkum (Brad) and Joseph DeGirolamo; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Jesse, Danika, Laney, Tucker, Juniper, Penelope and Duke.
